Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer on the Money Movement - Innovation team will design and develop applications using Scala, TypeScript, and C#, while leveraging AI-first tools and containerized microservices on AWS to address complex payment system challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applications in Scala, TypeScript, and C# while ensuring code quality and addressing production issues
• Utilize AI-first tools to enhance coding, testing, and review processes, translating business needs into technical solutions
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of team workflows

Required qualifications

• Strong grasp of programming languages, techniques, security, and architecture
• Experience with AI-first coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Copilot)
• 4+ years of experience developing applications with object-oriented or functional languages
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience mentoring and participating in code reviews
