Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and cloud-native applications while leveraging hands-on DevOps practices in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and build RESTful APIs and microservices with frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy applications in cloud environments, and containerize applications using Docker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Java and Spring frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
