Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of scalable high-performance applications, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Java backend services while implementing DevOps practices and managing cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and infrastructure as code using Terraform
