Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with a dynamic product team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications, write clean code, and drive the technical vision for key product areas while ensuring a positive user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product team members to develop and maintain applications and features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack, ensuring thorough documentation and testing
• Drive the technical vision for product areas by designing scalable and reliable systems while mentoring teammates through code reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem, particularly for large-scale applications
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJs, and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
