Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To develop the Rust experience for CUDA Core Libraries, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design safe Rust APIs for GPU computing, integrate with native C/C++ components, and optimize performance across various execution boundaries, with options for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement idiomatic Rust libraries and APIs for CUDA functionality and GPU algorithms
• Establish safe interoperability between Rust and C/C++, supporting downstream Python integration
• Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong production programming skills in Rust and C/C++, with a deep understanding of Rust ownership and concurrency
• Experience developing systems libraries and developer-facing APIs
• Practical knowledge of integrating Rust with C/C++ software
