Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive and independent Senior Software Engineer to join the Data Security group in a full-time role, responsible for building scalable microservices and advanced security tools while taking complete ownership of the software development life cycle in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build highly scalable microservices using Java and Node.js, and robust REST APIs for massive data volumes
• Develop high-performance streaming, search, and storage pipelines using Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and MongoDB
• Take full technical ownership of the entire software development life cycle from architectural design to deployment and monitoring

Required qualifications:

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend systems and scalable cloud architectures
• Proven mastery of Java and/or Node.js microservices, RESTful API design, and hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL data stores, particularly MongoDB
• Practical knowledge of event streaming via Kafka and containerized deployment using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong drive to explore and optimize workflows, leveraging advanced AI tools for security challenges
• Independent mindset with a track record of driving features autonomously and providing creative solutions to complex technical issues
