Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive Senior Software Engineer, Warehousing to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable software solutions while managing the Blue Yonder Cloud WMS environment and ensuring production stability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for the Blue Yonder Cloud WMS and resolve complex production issues
• Develop and support the microservices integration layer for data transmission between legacy systems and the BY Cloud WMS
• Monitor and troubleshoot high-volume message flows, utilizing observability tools to ensure system performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, particularly with Blue Yonder/JDA WMS environments
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API data formats (JSON, XML)
• Experience with production monitoring and log analysis tools like Sumo Logic and Grafana
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks
