Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will manage AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure, develop self-service tooling, and ensure security and compliance in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, and Networking, aligning standards and operational patterns
• Build and maintain self-service tooling for product teams to provision and operate cloud infrastructure safely
• Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed security guardrails into infrastructure provisioning

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking primitives and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Go, Python) for building platform tooling and automation
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team technical initiatives in a multi-cloud environment
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
