Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will manage the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure systems on AWS and GCP, ensuring secure and scalable operations while collaborating with various teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive alignment on standards, tooling, and operational patterns across AWS, GCP, and Networking pillars
• Build and maintain self-service tooling to enable product teams to provision cloud infrastructure safely
• Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed security and compliance guardrails into infrastructure provisioning

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking primitives and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
• Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go or Python, for building platform tooling
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives across multiple infrastructure domains
• Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
