Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced backend developers will find a remote full-time opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for leading backend development, maintaining server-side logic, and ensuring the reliability of services in production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead backend development by building and maintaining server-side logic and ensuring service reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and contribute to API design
• Participate in on-call support rotations, triaging production issues and maintaining production environments

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend technologies
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Rust for building back-end services
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization
• DevOps experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Docker-based deployment
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Sentry and Grafana
