Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote opportunity, the Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions, focusing on full-stack development and legacy modernization initiatives while collaborating with Agile teams and technical leads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-quality backend and frontend components, including APIs and user interfaces
• Refactor legacy Java applications into Spring Boot services and support the transition to modular architectures
• Implement authentication and authorization solutions while collaborating with DevOps teams on deployment and operational support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and proficiency with Angular (v2+) and TypeScript
• Relational database skills with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
