Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer, the successful candidate will own and evolve backend services for the post-bind policyholder journey, focusing on account onboarding and integration with inspection and home services, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to develop innovative API capabilities that enhance customer experiences
- Design and implement Java services that connect the platform to integration partners
- Make technical and architectural decisions to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and scalable
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in building and deploying software applications
- Strong experience with Java and modern Java tooling for backend development
- Proven track record of designing scalable and secure APIs
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams
