Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Platform team, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and build customer-facing backend services and public APIs, collaborating closely with Product Management and the Experience team to deliver high-quality features across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve customer-facing backend services and public APIs based on user needs across various products
• Own features end-to-end, from design through implementation and iteration, in partnership with Product Management and the front-end team
• Create technical design documents and contribute to a product-driven roadmap with clear outcomes and deadlines

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of strong backend engineering experience in building production services and APIs in a modern cloud environment
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) or a strong readiness to quickly ramp up in Go
• Experience in designing and evolving public APIs for multiple products or services, with knowledge of versioning and usability
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures, including containers and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to thrive in a remote, startup environment with a self-directed and adaptable approach
