Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating within a cross-functional Scrum team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and implement scalable web applications for a distributed content management platform in a remote setting, while mentoring junior developers and optimizing technical designs.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex software components for a cloud-based service, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Work closely with software architects to challenge and enhance technical designs, while ensuring code quality through co-ownership of the Definition of Done
- Mentor junior developers and empathize with customer pain points to deliver effective solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Cassandra
- Proficiency in integrating with RESTful APIs using JSON and XML
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, including React and AngularJS, along with HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
