Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer for the Billing team, who will own and evolve a billing system serving millions of users, work across the stack from backend services to frontend experiences, and mentor fellow engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the billing system, making architectural decisions that ensure reliability and scale
• Create testing plans and success metrics while integrating customer feedback for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead incident response efforts to drive reliability improvements

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related field, with proven experience in production software coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• Experience designing and operating services on cloud platforms, particularly Azure
• Strong technical judgment and curiosity about learning new domains
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering-wide practices
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
