Job Summary
Working remotely with occasional travel, the full-time Senior Software Development Engineer will implement and maintain network delivery solutions for MCG's Data Science SDKs, focusing on API development, integration support, and system documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain network delivery solutions, including deployment, security, and observability
- Collaborate with teammates to understand integration contracts and address early blockers
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding to incidents and driving reliability improvements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with backend services or service integrations
- Deep experience with back-end languages such as Python and Golang
- Experience building integrations in a distributed systems environment, understanding async patterns and failure handling
- Strong documentation skills to maintain clarity and longevity of technical documents
- Comfortable with paired programming and designing maintainable solutions
