Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning complex problems end-to-end, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and ship solutions that enhance the financial and community aspects of parenting while collaborating closely with product management and other teams.

Key responsibilities

• Frame problems with product management, run experiments, and integrate customer feedback into development
• Design critical system paths and manage risk by making informed tradeoff decisions
• Contribute to various areas of the codebase, including backend services, frontend issues, and data pipelines

Required qualifications

• Proven experience shipping production systems and solving ambiguous problems
• Strong background in software development with a focus on generalist skills across multiple technology stacks
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their application in software engineering
• Experience with modern web technologies such as Rails, React, and TypeScript
• Ability to work collaboratively in small teams and engage directly with customers for insights
