Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with product team members, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications and features, write clean and efficient code, and drive the technical vision for key product areas in a full-time capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a growing set of applications and features in collaboration with the product team
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the full stack
- Drive the technical vision by designing scalable and maintainable systems while mentoring teammates through code reviews
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem, particularly for large-scale applications
- Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJs, and React
- Strong experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
