Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance integration across core platforms, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and maintain Python services, focusing on performance optimization and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain REST APIs to integrate CRM with downstream systems
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues in production, including API latency and caching strategies
- Deploy and operate services in a cloud environment, utilizing observability tools to monitor system performance
Required qualifications
- Strong professional experience with Python, including async programming and REST API development
- Solid understanding of data integration and handling failures/retries across systems
- Experience with key-value or caching data stores, preferably Redis
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS
- Ability to read logs and distributed traces for debugging systems issues
