Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To drive cloud strategy and modernize enterprise platforms, the contract Senior Software Engineer in Platform Architecture will lead architecture and technical strategy for desktop, cloud, and web-based platforms while mentoring engineering teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical strategy for enterprise desktop, cloud, middleware, and web-based platforms
- Define scalable and secure application architectures, driving modernization initiatives from legacy systems to React-based solutions
- Establish architecture governance, security standards, and oversee CI/CD architecture and deployment automation
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in a technical leadership role
- Proven experience in designing enterprise software platforms across desktop, web, and cloud technologies
- Expertise in C++, C#, .NET Framework, and modern web technologies such as React and Node.js
- Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud services, including REST API design and enterprise security practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
