Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and implementing critical software systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on enhancing StackOS and Deploy Manager for safety-critical autonomy applications, working either onsite in Pittsburgh, PA or remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain StackOS to meet reliability and performance standards
- Drive the architecture and implementation of the onboard portion of Deploy Manager for efficient software delivery
- Collaborate with internal customers to ideate and deploy new features while automating vehicle assembly and software updates
Required qualifications:
- Strong C++ development experience; Python experience preferred
- Expert knowledge of software engineering and algorithm design principles
- Significant experience developing high-performance software systems for safety-critical applications
- Expert understanding of Linux and building Linux distributions via Yocto
- Domain experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or related industries is highly desired
