Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Taking ownership of modernizing critical data platforms, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and support enterprise-grade systems using PySpark and Databricks while collaborating in an Agile environment to accelerate AI enablement and automation.
Key responsibilities
- Partner in an Agile Scrum team to engineer, design, develop, and support production-quality systems
- Support cloud migration and data modernization initiatives, including transitioning data warehouse capabilities to PySpark and Databricks
- Develop scalable solutions for processing large data volumes while ensuring reliability and performance
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4+ years with a master's degree
- Strong experience with Databricks, PySpark, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, and Azure Data Factory
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, and building AI-ready data pipelines
- Experience with Kafka/event-driven architectures and Azure cloud technologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Agile delivery methodologies
