Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a new product from the ground up, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will design and build core services, own significant product pieces end-to-end, and mentor other engineers while shaping architectural decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build core services including APIs, data models, and integrations while making architectural decisions
- Own significant product components from design through production, including on-call ownership and incident response
- Mentor engineers and enhance team practices around testing, instrumentation, and code quality
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with a track record of owning systems in production
- Strong proficiency in Rust, with experience in Go, Java, or Kotlin
- Proven experience designing REST APIs at scale
- Deep experience with AWS or equivalent, containers, and CI/CD
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
