Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for application engineering, cloud integration, and platform operations remotely, focusing on building and sustaining AI services for FEMA.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of full-stack AI applications
- Build user interfaces, APIs, middleware, and back-end components for various AI solutions
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance with accessibility standards
Required qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering or related technical disciplines
- Proficiency with PERN-stack technologies, Terraform, and CI/CD practices
- Experience designing accessible user interfaces and testing for Section 508 compliance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- U.S. Citizenship and favorably adjudicated FEMA Public Trust suitability required
