Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support and expand digital transformation initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will develop and enhance data-centric applications and software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions and data analysis tools to enable scientific insights
- Apply industry best practices to translate product requirements into effective designs and engineering tasks
- Own projects end-to-end, from design through development to production and support
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with a scientific or data focus
- Strong proficiency in modern software development languages, particularly Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with technologies such as Python frameworks, AWS services, and data technologies like Pandas and NumPy
- Solid understanding of cloud software architecture and exceptional problem-solving skills
