Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to join the MAX Engineering team, focusing on backend development and maintenance of C#, ASP.NET features and services hosted in AWS, while ensuring high reliability and performance of products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop APIs, services, and MVC web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL databases
- Design and build scalable systems with a focus on reliability and operational excellence
- Lead technical design decisions and mentor team members to enhance overall engineering quality
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience building SaaS web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and JavaScript/Python
- Strong experience with Kafka event processing and integrating third-party APIs
- Proficient in cloud services (AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in SQL programming and data-layer development, including schema design and performance optimization
