Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning features end to end, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will enhance the Copilot code review process by improving agent behavior, integrating advanced models, and ensuring a high-quality review experience for developers, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Improve agent review capabilities, including context retention and handling of pull requests
- Integrate cutting-edge models while balancing review quality, latency, and cost
- Maintain a high-throughput service and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system health
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience in production software coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
- Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or a related field, with corresponding years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with maintaining and delivering production software
- Strong understanding of AI-assisted development and code review processes
- Experience in working with distributed systems and operational challenges in high-load environments
