Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer specializing in Elasticsearch, the successful candidate will manage and enhance infrastructure, optimize performance, and ensure site availability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance infrastructure frameworks, participating in capacity planning and design initiatives
• Act as the first point of contact for user issues, ensuring security and compliance while managing incident responses
• Identify optimization areas and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance and scalability

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven software coding experience in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
• 1+ year of technical leadership experience
• 6+ years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining Elasticsearch at scale
• 3+ years of experience using general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Go, Ruby, or Rust)
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
