Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the developer experience for a federal platform, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will build and maintain a self-service developer portal, design automated workflows, and integrate security measures across SaaS platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain the self-service developer portal and developer-facing tooling
- Design and automate cross-platform workflows to reduce manual developer toil
- Monitor and maintain workflow reliability, including failure detection and audit logging
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Hands-on experience designing and automating cross-platform workflows, including CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to build reusable automation patterns such as APIs and event-driven services
- Experience integrating identity and access management across SaaS platforms
- Capability in monitoring workflow reliability and delivering measurable platform improvements
