Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building secure enterprise AI platform capabilities, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and operate backend services and integrations that connect AI models to Spotify's internal systems while working remotely with some in-person collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure enterprise AI platform capabilities connecting AI models and internal systems
• Own major workstreams across enterprise AI infrastructure, including the Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateway
• Develop scalable approaches to AI governance, focusing on identity-aware access and policy enforcement

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in building and operating reliable backend systems
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Python or Go and experience designing APIs and integrations
• Familiarity with identity and authentication technologies like OAuth, SAML, or SCIM
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform
• Background in enterprise SaaS or platform engineering, or LLM integration patterns is a plus
