Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the performance of enterprise systems, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and implement backend architecture changes, build new features, and resolve scalability issues in a cross-functional team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build new features from technical design through production rollout
- Investigate and resolve scalability bottlenecks under production-like load
- Document design, implementation, and operational tradeoffs of the systems built
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant production experience in Go
- Deep understanding of Go's concurrency model and debugging race conditions
- Experience designing and operating relational databases in production
- Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills
- A self-motivated, analytical approach to tackling technical challenges
