Job Summary
Focused on building secure and reliable build infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and operate Go services and APIs for Docker's Secure Build team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Transform developer and security challenges into clear requirements and measurable outcomes
- Design and operate Go services that enhance Docker's build and secure-CI infrastructure
- Ensure the reliability of Docker Build Cloud and Auto Builds while implementing operational improvements
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on production systems at scale
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong backend engineering experience with distributed systems and production-level Go services
- Experience with containers and CI systems such as OCI, BuildKit, or GitHub Actions
- Operational mindset with knowledge of observability, reliability, and incident response
