Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the online casino experience, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and optimize GraphQL APIs and gRPC services, manage complex technical problems, and deliver new features and integrations in an agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, scale, and performance-tune GraphQL APIs and low-latency gRPC services for the casino lobby and wagering flows
- Own and resolve high-scope technical problems, drafting proposals and presenting solutions to leadership
- Mentor engineers and drive improvements in production systems through load testing and monitoring
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
- At least 2 years of experience building applications in Elixir
- 2+ years of experience designing and evolving GraphQL schemas
- Strong foundation in computer science with competencies in data structures and distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and operating services in a containerized environment
