Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the iCasino team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and optimize GraphQL APIs and gRPC services, manage complex technical challenges, and mentor fellow engineers while delivering new features and integrations in a collaborative agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, scale, and performance-tune GraphQL APIs and low-latency gRPC services for the casino lobby and real-money wagering flows
- Own and address high-complexity technical problems, drafting proposals for leadership and partner teams
- Mentor engineers through specifications, pairing, and code reviews, fostering a culture of software craftsmanship
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience building applications in Elixir
- 2+ years of experience designing and evolving GraphQL schemas
- Strong foundation in computer science with competencies in data structures and distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and operating services in a containerized environment
