Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on backend development for the VIN Decoder platform, utilizing AWS Postgres, GCP BigQuery, Redis, and Python, while collaborating in a remote environment to solve complex data engineering challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical vision and make critical decisions on multi-cloud infrastructure and system architecture
- Develop APIs and services, design scalable systems, and optimize application data models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and performance of products
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 7+ years of experience programming in Python
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization
- Deep practical experience in Agile development environments
