Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the Authentication Service, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and manage production services that ensure secure and performant user and AI agent authentication for Menlo's browser security platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement production services for the Authentication Service, focusing on correctness, scalability, and security
• Develop AI agent authentication capabilities to securely manage access to enterprise resources
• Apply security engineering practices, including threat modeling and vulnerability mitigation, to protect data integrity across distributed systems

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and operating production systems
• Hands-on experience in Rust, Python, or Go in a production environment
• Strong background in security-oriented engineering, including threat modeling and vulnerability mitigation
• Proven track record of comprehensive testing, including unit and integration tests
• Practical fluency with AI coding assistants, with the ability to critically assess outputs
