Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for a full-time remote position focused on developing cloud architecture and IoT fleet management solutions, while improving device firmware and ensuring the quality and uptime of a large fleet of devices.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all technology aspects of Voltus' IoT infrastructure, including device software, firmware, and cloud architecture
- Ensure uptime and quality for the fleet of devices while engaging with customers and internal teams for continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain fleet management solutions and perform remote software updates
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a code-contributing engineer
- Experience building production systems in Python, Go, or a similar high-level language
- Proficiency with AWS and Postgres or similar RDBMS
- Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems, such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino technologies
