Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will contribute to scaling and advancing data operations by designing and implementing data processing technologies, building robust ingestion and distribution systems, and collaborating with various teams to facilitate data consumption.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in software development work, including design and implementation of data processing technologies and development of data-related tools and libraries
- Support trading operations by ensuring reliable delivery of high-quality data and promoting research efforts
- Lead complex projects from start to finish, providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and research staff
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Proven track record of software design and implementation with a focus on correctness, robustness, and efficiency
- Expertise in a modern programming language, such as Python, Go, Java, or C++
- Hands-on experience developing in a Linux/UNIX environment
