Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Hands-on and experienced, the full-time Senior Software Engineer II will design and develop capabilities for a next-generation distributed transaction platform, leading an Agile team to build highly available and scalable cloud-based systems.
Key responsibilities
- Lead agile team contributions to software builds, including code reviews and automated testing
- Design and develop complex subsystems with a focus on high availability and low latency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the team's strategy and prioritize initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience
- Strong implementation experience in object-oriented languages, particularly Java, with a focus on building performant systems
- Experience in developing distributed micro-service systems and familiarity with Service Mesh products/frameworks
- Hands-on experience in designing and building cloud-native applications using platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in building Restful APIs and experience with NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems
