Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To build the next generation of the Kubernetes platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will collaborate on core capabilities for self-service GPU infrastructure and manage cluster operations, working remotely or onsite in Santa Clara.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate on the architecture and development of Kubernetes platform capabilities, including cluster management and control plane services
- Design and build reliable distributed systems and APIs for managing Kubernetes clusters at scale
- Define technical requirements and practices for automation across the Kubernetes stack, ensuring production readiness
Required qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience with large-scale production systems
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, APIs, and cluster lifecycle management
- Strong background in distributed systems design and reliability
- Proven experience building platform software or infrastructure control planes
