Job Summary
To support Fetch's AI-first era, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer II will architect and evolve data systems, focusing on data pipelines, governed access, and partner integrations while proactively solving complex technical problems.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively identify and solve ambiguous, complex technical problems within the data platform
- Set and raise the technical quality bar, initiating improvements in reliability and efficiency
- Lead multi-system initiatives, coordinating across teams to ensure smooth rollouts and project execution
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasing technical scope and ownership
- Strong platform or backend engineering background, particularly in building reliable, scalable systems
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify and scope ambiguous technical problems
- Experience owning systems or components used by multiple teams, focusing on reliability
- Fluency in modern software ecosystems such as Kubernetes and CI/CD
