Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting and enhancing software applications in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, document application specifications, and drive performance improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the product suite
- Analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers
- Document specifications, design, features, and operations of applications prior to production rollout
Required qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 4-5 years of industry experience with 2+ years in healthcare data or a highly regulated industry
- Proficiency in SQL optimization and tuning, and experience with Java or Python
- Experience with API development and containerization for over 3 years
- Strong knowledge of Spark/Pyspark and experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server and HBASE
