Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on delivering an intuitive customer experience, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with the engineering team, product managers, and designers to build customer-facing web applications and drive complex system design.
Key responsibilities
- Drive complex system design in collaboration with the architecture team
- Perform code reviews and mentor the development team on best practices
- Design and implement scalable microservices APIs while working closely with stakeholders to define requirements
Required qualifications
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of software development experience, particularly with secure, scalable web applications using Java
- Experience with object-oriented programming in Java and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Proficiency in front-end development using React, Sass, and JavaScript is a plus
