Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Owning projects end to end, the remote Senior Software Engineer will build, test, and deploy software for the Takeoff team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance core accounting systems and ensure high engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy software continuously, with frequent releases
- Collaborate with product managers and designers, participating in product and design reviews
- Mentor teammates and investigate production issues to improve system reliability
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience with Python or Vue (or other JavaScript frameworks) in production environments
- Strong coding fundamentals with a focus on clean, maintainable, well-tested code
- Experience working effectively on a remote team with strong async communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach others
