Job Summary
Seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer for the Payments Platform, this remote position involves designing and building scalable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers while focusing on enhancing Airbnb's payments services.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect and implement complex features with an emphasis on data-driven decision making and performance optimizations

Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience in Payments/Fintech as a backend software engineer is a plus
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading design, implementation, and deployment of high-scale payment systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience driving cross-functional initiatives
