Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support the engineering function, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will take ownership of architecture decisions, lead backend work, and manage incident responses while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop independent judgment on prioritization and architecture while leading backend engineering assignments and technical mentorship
- Engage in hands-on backend work, including reviewing PRs, diagnosing production issues, and managing queue architecture
- Serve as a primary escalation point for incidents, authoring RCAs and maintaining runbook documentation
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in backend software engineering and architecture
- Familiarity with DMS integrations and OEM data pipelines
- Experience with incident response and application-layer security compliance
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including DataDog and CloudWatch
- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams effectively
