Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of high-performance applications, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely on the Pensions product, focusing on architectural decision-making, mentoring team members, and optimizing solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and Java.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of Java and PL/SQL-based applications
- Implement and optimize business logic using PL/SQL packages and procedures
- Mentor team members and conduct detailed code reviews to ensure quality standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive software development experience
- Advanced experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Java
- Strong understanding of relational database design and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle APEX, Git, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
