Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Contributing to the future of the Automate platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build new capabilities for a mature .NET product, mentor team members, and implement AI tools while working fully remote.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new platform capabilities by translating product requirements into actionable plans
- Mentor less experienced engineers through code reviews and direct feedback while raising the standard for code quality
- Utilize AI coding tools effectively and help shape engineering practices as these technologies evolve
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep hands-on .NET and C# expertise
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and modern software engineering practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience with full stack, on-premises software delivery and managing large, complex codebases
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants in production work
