Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
To modernize a large SAP Commerce Cloud platform, the remote contract Senior Software Engineer will design durable workflows, develop SAP Commerce capabilities using Java and Spring, and integrate AI-assisted engineering into business processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support SAP Commerce Cloud capabilities, including integrations with OCC and REST APIs
- Design and implement durable workflows for long-running commerce processes, ensuring reliability and recovery operations
- Diagnose performance issues and build automated tests for workflows and integrations
Required qualifications
- Senior-level experience delivering distributed production systems
- Strong development experience with SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris or similar platforms
- Advanced skills in Java and Spring development
- Hands-on experience with durable orchestration platforms like Temporal or Azure Durable Functions
- Experience designing event-driven integrations using Kafka or similar technologies
