Job Summary
To support advanced manufacturing applications, the hybrid Senior Software Engineer, Computational Engineering will design, implement, and deploy algorithmic solutions for LBPF toolpath generation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software solutions for material quality and productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithmic solutions for LBPF toolpath generation
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and propose software solutions for manufacturing improvements
- Integrate engineering software into the factory application infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science (or related) with 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in C++ for production codebases
- Strong mathematical background with an understanding of computational geometry
- Familiarity with Python
